Movie Roulette
Can't decide what to watch? Spin the wheel and get a real movie pick — from timeless classics to the latest releases.
About Movie Roulette
Movie Roulette solves the biggest problem of modern movie night: the twenty-minute browse that ends with everyone giving up and rewatching something they've already seen. Instead of listing genres, this wheel is loaded with 100 real, watchable films — a mix of about 40% classics from the 1940s through the 2000s, 30% standout 2010s releases, and 30% recent films from 2020 through 2025. You get a genuine title to hunt down on your streaming service, not just "Drama" or "Comedy" to interpret.
The default list spans action, sci-fi, horror, romance, animation, thriller, and prestige drama, so a random spin is always a little bit of a surprise. If your taste leans one way, edit the wheel: remove anything you've already seen, delete genres you dislike, and add your own must-watches or watchlist favorites. The Reset to full list button restores the original 100 in a click, so you never lose the curated starting point. It's the perfect antidote for indecisive movie nights, streaming fatigue, and every "you pick" / "no, you pick" argument.

Frequently asked questions
How many movies are on the wheel?+
There are 100 hand-picked movies on the Movie Roulette wheel by default, spanning classics from the 1940s through the latest 2024–2025 releases. Each spin picks one at random with equal odds, so obscure gems get the same chance as blockbusters.
Can I add my own movies?+
Yes. Click any slice in the sidebar to rename it, use the × to remove films you have already seen or aren't in the mood for, and type a new title in the input box to add anything you like. If you strip the wheel down too far, hit Reset to full list to bring the original 100 movies back.
Does it include recent releases?+
Yes. Around 30% of the default list is from 2020–2025, including Oppenheimer, Barbie, Dune: Part Two, Poor Things, Anora, The Substance, Sinners, and other recent picks alongside the classics.
